About Radley College
Radley College was founded near Radley, Oxfordshire in 1847 by William Sewell and Robert Corbet Singleton and was formally called St Peter’s College. Similarly to Eton and Harrow, it is a boys public school whereby all students board.
Radley College is widely known for their academic prowess and for playing various sports like rugby, football, cricket, rowing and field hockey. It boasts squash, badminton, racquets and real tennis courts on it’s campus.

The school welcomes all potential candidates whether registered or unregistered to visit. Open days are held for candidates who wish to enter in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Admission
To start the registration process, consult the schools website here whereby you can enter your child’s age to find out what key steps would be required join. Radley College accepts applications years in advance. 2022, 2023, and 2024 application process for main intake year (13+) is already complete, except for scholarships for 2023 and 2024.
The admission process for the 2025 Radley List started on 25th April 2022 and the deadline for completing the online entry form was 30th May 2022, meaning this next academic year will be the start of the admissions process for students wanting to enter in 2026.
The main point of entry is at 13+ and 16+. Over 150 boys are accepted into 13+ each year and stay until the end of Sixth Form. There are occasional spaces in the Removes (Year 10).
For 13+ entry, some parents even register their children at birth! The main process begins when they are nearing the end of Year 5. For Remove, parents have to contact the Director of Admissions and Communications at admissions@radley.org.uk for more information.
For 16+, parents need to contact the Admissions office to register interest. The online entry form for 2023 will be available from June 2022. Registrations should be completed and returned to the Admissions Office by November.
Entrance exams and interviews
Assessment for 16+ holds 14th November 2022. Pupils will sit two academic tests in subjects that the candidate wishes to take at A level. Each test is 90 minutes. Each candidate will also be interviewed for 30 minutes by a Senior Master.
The summer of Year 8 is when students would sit their 13+ common entrance exam. All Radley List candidates must sit an ISEB Common Pre-test by 30th November 2022 which involves multiple-choice questions in Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, English and Mathematics.
