For Reception (Ages 4-6)

The application form available on the Sheffield High School website needs to be filled out completely. Acceptance documents must be completed after receiving a formal confirmation letter. Your daughter will have the opportunity to attend Stay & Play sessions to meet her new classmates before the first day of school.

For Year 1 to Year 6

The girls will be assessed in English, Maths, and reading on the taster day. After the successful completion of their assessment, they will offer a place for the girl. A deposit of £300 (the acceptance fee) is required at the time of offer acceptance.

For Year 7

The Entrance Examination is scheduled in January, and the school will notify you about the test date. The entrance examination includes Maths and English, and the girl will also participate in team-building activities. After accepting the place, the acceptance fee listed above would be due.

For Years 8 to Year 10 (Ages 11 to 16)

After registration, the girls get a chance to spend a taster day with the class of their same age group and complete their assessment test in English and Maths. Further visits will also be arranged before the first day; after accepting the place offered by the school, make a £300 deposit payment.
